The famous DeLorean car made a surprise appearance recently in South Roscommon. The Derryglad Folk Museum in Brideswell posted a photo of the car parked outside its premises. The car has now become a prized collector’s item. Car mogul John DeLorean famously built a factory in Belfast in 1978 to manufacture his unique vehicle. However, just 9,000 of the cars were made over its lifespan, and around 6,000 of them were sold before the company went bust.
